One of the three fundamental core commitments of the Spring Branch Family Development Center is education. We believe that access to quality education is vital to achieving success.
Upon evaluation of community needs, access to early childhood education and adult English classes emerged as key demands. In response, at SBFDC, there are three main education initiatives:
Family U, works with families who have children from 0 to 3 years old.
BakerRipley Head Start – Early Childhood Development Center, full-day Head Start program for 3 and 4-year-olds
Harris County Department of Education – English as a Second Language classes for adults
